A warm welcome to our two new trainee solicitors! 🎉

Brooke Kelly and Laura Kelly both started their two-year solicitor traineeships with us last Monday, and will be off to the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in January to continue their studies.

Having both worked as legal executives before taking this step, Brooke and Laura already know their way around the firm — and we're thrilled to see them progress on the path to qualifying as solicitors.

Wishing them both the very best of luck! 👏

What a fantastic evening at the Coleraine Campus 5k! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Mallon & Co Solicitors were delighted to be headline sponsor once again. This is our third year as headline sponsor and our fifth year supporting the race, having backed it since it first started. It was also the Ulster 5k championship race.

A brilliant turnout, a great atmosphere and some seriously impressive running. Well done to everyone who took part, and a huge thank you to Springwell Running Club and all the volunteers who made the event run so smoothly. 👏

Watched Martin Lewis talking about Power of Attorney? Good. But if you live in Northern Ireland, the rules are different.

Your family cannot access your money or manage your affairs if something happens to you. Not without the right document in place.

Paula McGlone explains what you need, how it works, and why you should not put it off.

We get asked about this a lot. Clients come in and say they’ve been watching Martin Lewis and he was talking about getting a Power of Attorney sorted.

This memory from 2019 brings back a great sense of pride.

The restoration of the historic Station Master’s House in Maghera transformed a much-loved landmark into the beautiful offices we are privileged to work in today. This unique project carefully preserved the building’s rich heritage while creating a functional modern workspace for the future.

A huge credit goes to P&K McKaigue Ltdfor their exceptional craftsmanship, dedication and attention to detail throughout the restoration. We also fondly remember the late Colm McGurk, McGurk Architects whose vision and architectural expertise helped bring this remarkable project to life.

We are incredibly fortunate to call this award-winning building our workplace and to be custodians of such an important piece of local history. ❤️

Do you remember when the trains still ran through Maghera? 🚂

Stuart Monteith has written a wonderful account of his 1950s childhood living at the Station House. The bread men, the livestock wagons and the final whistle on 1st October 1959 when the Derry Central Railway closed for good.
