Jordans Solicitors was founded in June 2017 by Barbara Jordan, a friendly and highly experienced family solicitor with a long-standing reputation for helping people navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives.

After many years working in Cheltenham, Barbara a

nd her small, dedicated team are now based in the peaceful village of Lydbrook on the Gloucestershire–Herefordshire border. From here, we support clients across the region – and beyond – offering in-person appointments, as well as Zoom, phone, or home visits where needed.

We specialise in family law, including divorce, separation, children matters and cohabitation disputes. Barbara brings not only deep legal expertise but a thoughtful approach – helping clients make clear decisions for their future.

Please note that our office has been affected by the floods over the last couple of days and we are operating with limited staff.

We are still open but working limited hours.

Please note if you are attending our office for appointments please check your routes.

Lower Lydbrook is currently cut off due to flooding and Upper Lydbrook is closed due to the road collapsing.

Please take care and only drive if neccesary. We can offer remote appointments to all clients.

Alison Roberts

Alison joined Jordan’s in 2021 as Barbara Jordan’s PA.

Outside of work Alison is a keen runner. She took part in the Newport marathon this year!! Running 26.2 miles.

She has previously taken part in Cardiff half marathon and aspires to do the London marathon!

She is a valuable member of our team 🥇
