Luton Law Centre We are an independent Charity, run by a Board of Trustees made up of local people.

We employ qualified lawyers and caseworkers who provide a full legal service including representing people in court. The core funding to deliver our advice services is awarded by Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation as part of the London Luton Airport Community Fund. We hold Legal Aid Agency contracts in community care, housing, immigration and asylum. We can help with the kind of legal pro

blems which can happen to anyone from time to time. We give information, advice and specialist casework covering:
Community Care - rights and entitlements to assessments and access to care services, for older people, those with disabilities and health problems, or young people leaving care. Debt - particularly if you might lose your home because of your money problems. Employment - redundancy, dismissal, terms and conditions, grievance and disciplinary procedures. Housing - tenancy agreements, landlords' deposits, disrepair, rent or mortgage arrears, eviction, homelessness. Immigration and Asylum - nationality and citizenship; visas for spouses; students; visitors and workers; entry clearance; asylum applications and appeals. Welfare Benefits - advice on entitlements to Jobseekers allowance, income support, housing benefit, tax credits, disability benefits. Contact Us: our ADVICE LINE 01582 481000

Our specialist advisers can give you initial advice over the phone, and assess your problem to see if you will need an appointment. Please phone one of these sessions:

Tuesday - 10:30 - 12:30 Housing and Debt
Tuesday - 14.00 - 15.00 Immigration and Asylum
Thursday - 10:30 - 12:30 Housing and Community Care
Friday - 10:00 - 11.00 Immigration and Asylum

(The lines can get busy and we have limited staff, so please keep trying if you can't get through straight away!)

Our office is open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our receptionists will take details of your enquiry to pass on to our advisers, or give you details of other agencies who may give you the help you need.
