Today marks 13 years since I left my family home on 10.11.2012.
From working on warehouse floors to becoming a solicitor and mortgage broker … I couldn’t be prouder of the path that 19-year-old me envisioned all those years ago.
I’m endlessly grateful for the growth, discipline, and resilience that leaving my country taught me.
Along the way, I’ve met incredible, inspiring people — and a few not-so-great ones too! Every experience, good or bad, has played its part in shaping the woman I am today.
I’m still walking, S T R O N G E R than ever — and always will. It’s just who I am. I can’t quite explain it, but something deep inside me refuses to give up. I wish that mindset for everyone…
Trust yourself. Believe that you can achieve anything — because you can.
Feed your mind with positivity, but don’t be delusional and don’t forget to do the work.
There are no shortcuts in life — “The only place success comes before work is in dictionary”.
Cheers to everyone who’s building the life they dream of with their own hands, on their own terms, and with full responsibility for every step of the journey.
