High pressure presentations where you were encouraged to sign before you left. Cooling off periods that weren't properly explained or observed. Maintenance fees that were downplayed or understated. Promises about investment value that were never realistic. Perpetuity clauses buried in contracts that nobody walked you through.

These tactics were widespread across the timeshare industry — and many of the people affected still don't know they have options.
