Join us on Monday, December 1, 2025 for the annual Max Weaver Lecture, a free event you won’t want to miss!

HONORING MAX: We celebrate Max Weaver’s outstanding contribution, as he was instrumental in establishing the study of law at LSBU (then Southbank Polytechnic) in 1972.

THE KEYNOTE: Legal theorist Dr. Joshua Jowitt will explore the mind-bending question, “Does my Bot have rights?”. He will discuss the legal status of human organoids and how these issues relate to AI.

NETWORKING: This event is proudly presented in association with the South London Law Society and includes refreshments for networking afterwards!
