Маєток Сергія та Олени Тищенків «Вілла Танглвуд» в Англії був проданий арбітражними керуючими, призначеними WWRT. Маєток, оцінений у близько 4 мільйонів фунтів стерлінгів, був проданий минулого тижня у межах банкрутства відповідача. Раніше, у 2020 році, WWRT отримала арешт активів Тищенків на суму 65 мільйонів фунтів стерлінгів у Високому Суді Лондона.

Ольга Гутовська, керуючий партнер Gutovska & Partners та власниця мажоритарного пакету акцій WWRT, прокоментувала: «Я вдячна за клопітку працю своїм колегам. Цей маєток відомий широкому загалу ще із розслідувань на той час журналіста Української правди Сергія Лещенка. Це досить велика споруда у престижному районі, із тенісним кортом та басейном. Пригадую, наскільки ми були здивовані, коли відповідачі вирішили похизуватися маєтком, запросивши до нього журналістів Таймс у час, коли з дня на день мало відбутися примусове виселення. Новий власник планує цей артефакт корупції повністю реконструювати. Я лише радію, коли успішні, амбітні люди купують маєтки, авто та інші предмети розкоші -- тоді ці речі є результатом наполегливої праці та реалізацією таланту та розуму, але ніхто не має права розкошувати за вкрадені кошти. Ми наполегливо працюємо та працюватимемо надалі для стягнення боргів, реального втілення правових норм у ринковій економіці у країнах, що прямують до демократії та ринкових відносин, зокрема і в Україні».

Gutovska & Partners Mastery Prize Competition for Students (Ukraine) ⭐️

If you are a law student in Ukraine, submit your response to the Prize Question and win a G&P Mastery Prize. This year Prize is dedicated to memory of our colleague, a great lawyer and lecturer Prof. Kotiuk who passed away so early in his life in September 2024.

Prize Question 2024:

History of development of the court system of Ukraine: from Kyivska Rus to modern days.

In a response, a successful applicant will:

(a) provide a correct and coherent analysis of development of the court system;
(b) highlight the differences between court systems of different ages;
(c) provide examples of cases of interest for each of the stages of the court system.

Award

The best answer will be awarded a Prize (Legal Writing Handbook and an award of UAH 15,000).

The Audience Prize (Legal Writing Handbook and an award of UAH 15,000) will be awarded to a participant whose post gets the most shares.

Efficiency Award (UAH 1,000) will be awarded to the first five applicants.

Борис Кауфман, відповідач у справі WWRT проти Бориса Кауфмана за позовом про стягнення 80 мільйонів доларів, що буде розглядається Таємною Радою Його Величності у Великобританії, залишається під арештом в Україні. Нещодавно Вищий Антикорупційний Суд України залишив пана Кауфмана під арештом на умовах застави у 230 млн грн. Пан Кауфман підозрюється у незаконному заволодінні Одеським аеропортом та завданні збитків державі на більше 2,5 мільярдів гривень.

Ольга Гутовська, директор та мажоритарний власник акцій англійської компанії WWRT прокоментувала:

Gutovska & Partners is horrified by war crimes of Russia in Ukraine. Following anouncements of a number of international law firms regarding suspending work with sanctioned or Russian clients, we take this opportunity to announce that we have never acted for Russian clients, and we do not intend to do so in future. Starting back from Russian invasion in Ukraine in 2014, our members and lawyers were engaged in support of Ukrainian army and civil society.

Gutovska & Partners supports Ukrainian humanitarian aid and efforts to rescue civilians. Managing Partner of the firm Olga Gutovska made a donation for support of Ukraine and its territorial defence forces. Three members of Gutovska & Partners Ukraine joined either the Army or the Territorial Defence Forces, and we cannot be more proud of them.

In these dark times, we urge lawyers arround the world to stop acting for all Russian clients completely, and join the efforts to ensure expedient trial of war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine.

We stand with Ukraine and Ukrainian people.

WWRT, majority shareholding in which is owned by Olga Gutovska through Vigorous Ltd, had obtained, ex parte, a £65 million worldwide freezing order against Ukrainian nationals Mr and Mrs Tyshchenko.
The WFO was in support of WWRT’s claim founded on what was alleged to be an extensive fraud on Ukrainian Bank by the Tyshchenkos. In April 2021 the Court continued the WFO. The Court dismissed jurisdiction challenge. The Court ordered there to be a cross-examination on the defendants’ assets and for further disclosure to be provided in support of the WFO.
