The Order of Women Freemasons is the oldest and largest Masonic organisation for women, working along the lines of regular male Freemasonry.

The Order was formed in 1908 and called The Honourable Fraternity of Antient Masonry and the three lodges consecrated in the same year still meet today.

The Order of Women Freemasons was formed at a time when women were fighting for recognition in many spheres of society and there were close ties to the suffragette movement.

Members of all ages and backgrounds base their lives on the traditional values and fundamental principles of freemasonry – friendship, kindness, charity, integrity and respect – alongside learning ritual, making life-long friends and having fun!

This is the next rank following provincial honours. Allocation to active rolls is very rare as positions limited and you are representing the United Grand Lodge of England. Meritocracy at its finest for those promoted to active roles and as explained in the Provincial Rack post, a limited number each year to the Past rank.

The Blue border of the apron is a lot wider and the Apron itself is larger. The collar is embroidered in gold with a Sprig of Acacia on one side and an ear of corn on the other....

Regalia differs between what is known as Dress & Undress type.

Tonight we celebrated 184 years of legacy!

Jefferson Lodge No. 43 and the OES Victoria Chapter No. 14 gathered in fellowship to honor nearly two centuries of Masonic tradition, service, and brotherhood. This milestone reminds us of the enduring strength of our craft and the generations who have carried the light forward.

We were deeply honored to celebrate with MWB Emmett Bryson, whose presence and words inspired us to continue building upon the foundation laid by those before us.

Here’s to the past that guides us, the present that unites us, and the future we will shape together.
