Well... the Ice Breaker tickets are officially SOLD OUT.

To everyone who secured one of the first discounted tickers, thank you. The response to Bridging the Gap 2026 has been incredible and we are so excited about the conversations that are already beginning to take shape.
If you missed out on the Ice Breaker rate, don't panic.

The Early Believer tickets are now available at £365 + VAT until 30 June 2026.

Bridging the Gap was never designed to be just another conference. It was created to bring together professionals from family law, mediation, psychology, domestic abuse services, safeguarding, academia and lived experience to explore what sits beneath conflict and how we can work differently, together, to improve outcomes for children and families.

This year we will be joined by an extraordinary line-up of speakers including Stephen Wildblood KC, Penny Ruth Willis, Professor Gigi Gutiérrez, Professor Ben Hine, Dr Deborah Gilman, Helen Anthony, Dr Charlotte Proudman, Lucy Morrison-Childs, Claire Webb, Jacinta Gallant and many more.

We'll be tackling some of the most important issues facing families today, from trauma and attachment to coercive control, child-inclusive practice, safeguarding, neurodiversity, system reform and the future of family justice.
If you've been thinking about joining us, this is the best available rate before prices increase again on 1 July.

The longer I work with families, the more convinced I become that many of the difficulties we are seeing in family conflict are not simply about communication breakdown, legal disagreement or “high conflict” personalities in isolation. Increasingly, professionals across law, mediation, psychology, safeguarding and child services are working with families carrying layers of trauma, grief, attachment wounds, nervous system dysregulation, coercive dynamics, financial fear, identity collapse and intergenerational pain that no single profession can fully hold on its own.

Yet families themselves do not experience their lives in professional categories. They experience the emotional atmosphere around them. They experience uncertainty, fear, instability, divided loyalties, silence, escalation and the feeling of trying to survive something painful whilst the adults and systems around them struggle to understand what is really happening underneath the surface.

At the centre of all of this are children who do not care which professional “wins” the argument. They care about whether the adults around them can create enough steadiness, safety and understanding for them to continue being children whilst their world changes around them.

That is why Bridging the Gap 2026 exists.

This conference was never intended to be another event where professionals remain safely within their own disciplines or repeat conversations we have all heard many times before. It is being built intentionally to bring together voices from family law, mediation, psychology, safeguarding, behavioural science, child inclusive practice and system reform to explore what sits underneath family conflict and what more joined up, humane and child-focused responses might look like moving forward.

Across the two days we will be exploring themes including trauma and attachment, coercive dynamics and misinterpretation, neurodivergence and family systems, emotional safety for children, communication under pressure, financial fear and later-life separation, safeguarding complexity, non-violent resistance, integrated professional practice and the unintended harm that can happen when systems become too fragmented to truly hold families well.

Alongside plenary discussions, practical breakout sessions and an immersive closing performance exploring what happens after systems step away and families are left living the reality.

Most of our speakers are now live on the website and over the coming weeks we’ll begin introducing more of them properly here on LinkedIn, along with the conversations, ideas and themes shaping this year’s programme.

The first release “Ice Breaker” tickets are now almost gone and once the first 25 places have sold, pricing will move to the next early release tier through to the end of June.

If this feels like a conversation you need to be part of, we would genuinely love to have you with us.

We’re still taking a breath after last week.

What was created in that room wasn’t just a conference, it felt like something bigger starting to take shape.

This page is a space to keep that conversation going.

Across mediation, family law, psychology, education and beyond, there was a shared recognition that something needs to shift in how we support families through conflict.

Not just in theory, but in practice, so rather than rushing on, we want to hold this space for a moment.

What stayed with you from last week?A conversation, a speaker, a moment that changed how you think?

And if you weren’t there, what’s drawing you into this work?

Thank you so much to everyone who made the 2 days so special.

The conference may be over, but this is only the start for the future of family law.

We will be sharing lots of content from the event over the coming days, so make sure you keep a look out.

And once again, thank you!

ONE WEEK until Bridging the Gap.

After months of planning, it’s almost time to bring everyone together in the same room.

In just seven days, professionals from family law, mediation, psychology, education and public health will gather to share ideas, challenge perspectives, and explore better ways of supporting families in conflict, with children firmly at the centre of the conversation.

We genuinely cannot wait to see all of this hard work come to life.

Hands up who will be joining us there? 🙋

👉 A deeper understanding of family conflict
Learn from global experts about the psychological, social, and systemic factors that drive high-conflict family situations — and how those dynamics impact children.

👉 Practical tools you can apply immediately
Walk away with strategies, frameworks, and approaches you can implement in your own practice to better support families and reduce harm.

👉 A truly multidisciplinary perspective
Hear directly from professionals across family law, mediation, psychology, education, and public health — gaining insights you wouldn’t normally encounter within your own sector.

👉 A stronger child-first approach
Explore how systems can work together to prioritise children’s wellbeing and long-term outcomes during family breakdown.

👉 New connections with like-minded professionals
Build relationships with others who care deeply about improving the way we respond to family conflict.

We promise you'll leave with new ideas, inspiration and a renewed sense of purpose about how change can happen across the system.
