It’s unlawful to dismiss someone unfairly under the Employment Rights Act 1996.
If your employer didn’t have a fair reason — or failed to follow a proper process — you may have a valid claim.

Unfair dismissal can include:
• no fair reason given
• flawed or rushed disciplinary processes
• dismissal for protected reasons
• being forced out of your role
