About Me:
I am currently employed as a full time Practice Manager at Stonebridge Legal Solutions which specialises in Immigration Casework. Stonebridge Legal is regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner to provide immigration legal advice.
I have previously worked as a caseworker overlooking immigration, human rights and human trafficking matters at City Heights Solicitors based in Stratford, London. I have experience in dealing with a wide range of immigration issues for private and commercial clients.
I have extensive work experience in all kinds of immigration applications, complicated family "outside the rules" applications, asylum and humanitarian appeal work, sponsor licence applications, challenging sponsor licence revocations and drafting pre action protocol letters and skeleton arguments against home office refusals, all of which I have gathered in the last 3 years of supervised practice. I am now authorised to provide Limited Unsupervised Immigration Advice pursuant to Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, as a OISC Level 1 Adviser.
I have also trained myself as a Barrister from the City University of London, successfully completing it with an average of 74% (Merit) across all modules. I then qualified in October 2021 and was called as a Barrister by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 26th May 2022.
My Academic Accomplishments include:
1. the “Daily Star Award”, for my exemplary result in my Ordinary Level Examinations.
2. Academic Scholarship as a tution waiver on my second year tuition fees at BPP University, for achieving the Country Highest Marks in my first year.
3. The Prestigious Lord Templeman Scholarship in 2019, which financed my study at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
4. the Bristol Law School Prize in August 2020, for being the best performing direct entrant student on an undergraduate level by the University of the West of England.
During my undergraduate studies, I served as an elected department representative for the faculty of Law at the University of the West of England, Bristol. During my second year of study at the London College of Legal Studies (South), I served as an executive committee member for the Debate and Mooting Club. During my time at the LCLS(S) DMC, I seized the title of Championship for my esteemed institution at the Khondker Mahbubuddin Memorial Moot Court Competition 2019 organised by BRAC University.
