Today at Basildon County Court, we successfully secured a suspension of eviction for a family facing immediate homelessness.
Despite strong opposition from the lender’s solicitors, the court recognised our client’s long-standing residence, family ties, and legal interest in the property.

🔷 HUMAN RIGHTS APPEAL ALLOWED – JUSTICE SECURED

We’re proud to announce a successful Upper Tribunal appeal for our client, a vulnerable individual from Bangladesh, who has now been granted leave to remain in the UK.

📌 The Tribunal ruled that removal would breach:

✅ Article 3 ECHR – due to serious mental health conditions and lack of adequate treatment in Bangladesh.
✅ Article 8 ECHR – recognising long-established private life in the UK.

We are pleased to share that a judicial review involving statutory interpretation has been conceded by the Secretary of State, with leave granted so quickly that we did not even have time to settle by way of consent order! 🎉

This judicial review was complex because the client exercised right of appeal against the decision and there is no JR where there is an alternative remedy. We carefully chose to challenge the procedural failure of the SSHD by way of JR.

We protected the rights of our client, who can finally enjoy her rightful leave with her husband, in spite of the Home Office's irrational decision. 🏆 Victory in Skilled Worker Visa Case! 🏆

City Heights Solicitors is thrilled to share a successful outcome for our client, whose Skilled Worker visa application from the Middle East was initially refused due to an ETS-related fraud allegation. Despite further challenges, including a previous asylum claim and overstaying in the UK, our client voluntarily left the UK.

Aminur Rashid expertly handled the case, promptly responding to the Home Office's request by obtaining voice recordings from ETS solicitors in London, which sadly confirmed the voice was not our client's. Thanks to our meticulous preparation of the administrative review, the Home Office overturned the refusal. A new decision is pending, and we are hopeful for a positive outcome with a visa grant soon!
