Revocation of premises licence for Lounge Bar in Ess*x overturned at Basildon Magistrates Court yesterday. Police had applied for a revocation of the licence based on failings of a previous DPS which included trading after hours and drug trafficking. Brown and Co, acting for the new licence holder and DPS, negotiated continuation of the licence in exchange for further conditions. Our client was facing financial ruin: he can now continue in his business.
