DUBAI POLICE ARREST ZEYNAB JAVADLI, EX-WIFE OF DUBAI PRINCE SHEIKH SAEED BIN MAKTOUM BIN RASHID AL MAKTOUM

Dubai Public Prosecution has confirmed that Zeynab Javadli is in custody. It took five days of worldwide media pressure and international outcry before they would even admit it.
What their statement does not tell you is this. In 2022, Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum personally intervened in Zeynab's case. He granted her full custody of her three daughters. He gave her a home and a driver. He assured her she would be protected. In exchange, she withdrew her complaint to the United Nations and stayed silent.
The alleged incident they are now using to justify her arrest occurred in November 2025. No crime was committed. She was allowed to go home. She remained in Dubai, in full contact with the authorities, for over seven months. Then, in the middle of the night, Dubai Police came for her.
The father did not call once to check on the girls during the Iran conflict when bombs were falling around them in Dubai. Not once. These children are not to him what they are to Zeynab.
Zeynab has now been in detention for 5 days. She has been denied access to her lawyers. She has been denied consular access. Her three daughters, Sheikha Sana, Sheikha Asiya, and Sheikha Salma, are unaccounted for.
This is not an isolated case. This is a pattern. Princess Latifa. Princess Haya. Sheikha Shamsa. And now Zeynab. The same ruler. The same tactics. The same silence.

🚨 MISSING PERSON ALERT 🚨

Zeynab Javadli, ex-wife of Dubai Prince Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, nephew of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed, and her three young daughters are missing in Dubai.

For years, Zeynab lived in fear. She was subjected to horrific and relentless abuse by Dubai authorities, targeted simply for being a mother who refused to give up her children. She feared arrest every single day. She knew this day might come. She prepared for it. And now it has.

Her friends are terrified. Her family are terrified. Her lawyers have heard nothing. The Azerbaijani Consulate has no information. Nobody - not one person who knows and loves her - has heard from Zeynab since Tuesday night.

Her elderly mother boarded a plane and flew to Dubai because she had no choice. When she reached the family home, the locks had been changed. The house was empty. She is now unable to leave Dubai, trapped in a country where she does not know where her daughter or grandchildren are.
A mother is missing.

Three little girls are missing. A grandmother is stranded, locked out of her daughter’s home, desperate and alone.

On GB News earlier today with Jacob Rees-Mogg discussing the findings of the Southport inquiry.
I described the findings as ‘a massive state failure’ and said the revelations are deeply troubling and frightening.

Phase two now starts, but that will take another year.
We owe it to those innocent children and their devastated families, and to every parent in this country, to ensure this never happens again.
That means genuine, effective, urgent reforms. Not just another merry-go-round that enabled a monstrous mass murderer.

Until we cast out tick-box Britain once and for all, restore clear lines of individual accountability, and install genuinely talented leadership at every level of our state authorities, this will remain nothing more than a perpetual carousel of futility, an endless, ever-widening spiral of bureaucratic evasion where responsibility dissolves and nothing of substance is ever achieved.
