Happy New Year! 🎉

What a year 2025 was—I finally summited Kilimanjaro, ticking off a lifelong dream! It was incredible, but the months since have been tough with health struggles that kept me in hospital on New Year’s Eve. I also won a decade-long legal fight, though I never had time to speak about it.

But now... hello 2026! I'm feeling stronger and more determined than ever, buzzing with new projects—many focused on human rights causes that mean the world to me.

This is the year I climb my next mountain, whatever shape it takes. Here's to fresh starts, big dreams, and unstoppable energy.

Wishing you all a joyful, healthy, and adventure-filled year ahead! May you climb your mountains this year, whatever form they take, and may we heal the world together 🌎🥂✨🏔️

Thank you to my wonderful friend Tiina Jauhiainen for the beautiful flowers, and to my incredible partner Jonny for everything.
As many of you know, it’s been a rough year health-wise after climbing the world’s tallest freestanding mountain (Mount Kilimanjaro in beautiful Tanzania). It started with DVT, then male breast cancer scares, and after a long road of treatment.
Today is hopefully the final surgery in this journey, the end of what my friends jokingly call ‘Kilimanjaro Revenge’ 😉
As they wheel me into theatre, here’s to 2026: more mountains to climb, the English Channel to swim, and better health ahead. 🥂

And yes I would climb Kilimanjaro ⛰️ again any time. 💪👍

Human rights belong to all of us. They are non-negotiable.

We all have a role to play in upholding them for every human being. That’s why, on this Human Rights Day, my good friend Aisha-Ali Khan and I have launched a new human rights watchdog. Watch this space.
