We were incredibly proud to launch our Neurodiversity Aware Family Law Team yesterday at the Courthouse Hotel, Shoreditch.
This new service has been developed to support neurodivergent individuals who are too often misunderstood within the family justice system, leading to trauma, unmet needs, and unfair outcomes. Our team provides a bespoke, trauma-informed approach tailored to the needs of neurodivergent clients and their families. Read more here (insert lin k from website)
Led by Alia Lewis, Partner and Head of Public Law Children, the team is committed to improving family justice and breaking down barriers for neurodivergent children, parents and families.
We were also honoured to host an inspiring panel discussion, bringing together professionals from social work, charities, clinical psychology, education and the legal sector to explore the urgent need for greater neurodiversity awareness and systemic reform.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, particularly given the travel disruption across London, and to our fantastic panellists: Alia Lewis, Deborah Piccos, Sarah Cockburn, Daina Pierags, Frances Harris, and Claire Lux.
It was an evening of learning, collaboration, and meaningful conversations about creating a more inclusive family justice system.
