Patron Law, led by partner Mark Lewis, acted for broadcaster John Ware and the 7 Labour Party whistleblowers in their defamation action against the Labour Party concerning reactions to the Panorama programme, "Is Labour Anti-Semitic?", screened in July 2019. As part of a settlement of the case, the Labour Party issued a full apology in the High Court today, and agreed to pay substantial damages. Mark Lewis

This investor-led scheme is a fantastic opportunity for investors and investee companies alike. Eligible UK companies will be able to issue convertible loan notes, into which eligible investors will see their investments matched by the government, ranging from £125,000 up to a level of £5m.
