British Citizenship.
01 December 2025.
If you have Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or Settled status under EUSS scheme you may be eligible to apply.
There are many different situations when you or your children can apply and there are some criteria you have to satisfy, but generally speaking you need to live in the UK for at least 5 years, pass 2 exams (if you are 18-65 y.old), you were not absent from the UK for long periods and you don't have serious criminality.
If you consider to apply I would suggest to do it sooner, before some changes in the law come into effect.
Please get in touch on 07891724159 or via e-mail [email protected] for more information or book a consultation.

Law update. 10 February 2025.
Good character guidance amended to block illegal entrants to the UK from naturalisation after decisive vote in the Parliament.

There have been some important additions that have the potential to block a large number of refugees and illegal entrants from naturalising as British citizens, effective from 10 February 2025. This is described in the changes section as a “clarification” rather than a change, although the fact that it is to be applied to applications made after 10 February 2025 seems to undermine this somewhat.

This has been added :

Any person applying for citizenship from 10 February 2025, who previously entered the UK illegally will normally be refused, regardless of the time that has passed since the illegal entry took place.

Any person applying for citizenship before 10 February 2025 where illegal entry is a factor, will continue to have their application reviewed to determine whether that immigration breach should be disregarded for the purpose of the character assessment.
The following section has been added too:

Arriving without a required valid entry clearance or electronic travel authorisation, having made a dangerous journey.

A person who applies for citizenship from 10 February 2025 who has previously arrived without a required valid entry clearance or electronic travel authorisation, having made a dangerous journey will normally be refused citizenship.

A dangerous journey includes, but is not limited to, travelling by small boat or concealed in a vehicle or other conveyance. It does not include, for example, arrival as a passenger with a commercial airline.

Naturalisation applications are expensive and there is no right of appeal against a refusal, so even though the guidance states that applications will “normally” be refused, meaning that there is room to ask for discretion to be exercised and a grant still made even where there has been illegal entry, in reality many people will be deterred by this change from even applying.

Please book a consultation with us before you are applying for Naturatisation to avoid any potential and expensive pitfalls.

Law update. 31 January 2025.
Ukrainian Children can now be sponsored by a parent or legal guardian who is in the UK on one of the Ukrainian schemes!

A parent (or legal guardian) who holds permission under any of the Ukraine Schemes can apply to sponsor their child under Homes for Ukraine.
Children sponsored by their parents (or legal guardians) will hold permission to live in the UK for up to 18 months. They will have access to education, healthcare, benefits and employment (as appropriate under UK law).

Eligibility:
Both the applicant child and their sponsoring parent must meet all the requirements under the Homes for Ukraine scheme for the visa to be issued:
The parent or legal guardian:
-does not need to have settled status to sponsor their child, but they must hold permission under any of the Ukraine Schemes (or Leave Outside the Rules granted due to the conflict in Ukraine before the Ukraine Schemes were introduced)
-must offer accommodation for the duration of their child’s visa
must be able to provide evidence of their relationship with the child (birth/adoption/legal guardianship documents).
Successful applicants will be granted a Homes for Ukraine visa with permission to stay in the UK for up to 18 months. If the child’s parent has less than 18 months permission remaining the child’s visa will be aligned with their parent’s.

Please get in touch with us via [email protected] should you wish to bring your children into the UK under these rules.

The new Ukraine Permission Extension scheme will open on 4 February 2025.
If you’re a Ukrainian national, or the family member of a Ukrainian national, and are living in the UK with existing permission on one of the Ukraine schemes, you may be eligible to apply for UPE to continue living in the UK for up to a further 18 months.
Who can apply:
To apply to the Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) scheme you must already have been granted permission under one of the other Ukraine Schemes. This means that you must have been granted permission to stay in the UK under either the:
-Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme (Homes for Ukraine)
-Ukraine Family Scheme
-Ukraine Extension Scheme
You may also be eligible to apply to the Ukraine Permission Extension scheme if you have been granted permission to stay in certain circumstances.

When to apply:
The Ukraine Permission Extension scheme will be open for applications from 9:00am UK time on 4 February 2025. It is not an automatic extension of your current permission.
You should only make an application to the Ukraine Permission Extension scheme when your current permission has 28 days or less remaining until it expires.
If you apply too early, your application may be rejected and not considered. If this happens, you will need to reapply when your current permission has 28 days or less remaining until it expires.
You must make an application before your current permission expires.

You must also:
-be in the UK when making an application
-have been living in the UK (and Islands, which includes Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man) since you were granted, or arrived in the UK, with permission under the Ukraine Schemes.

Please get in touch via [email protected] should you need more information or would like to book an appointment to apply.

Important update! People with Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) in the UK and who hold various visas (Ukrainian schemes, spouse visa, ILR etc.) will need to create an account on UKVI and apply for e-Visa before the end of 2024. This is because cards will no longer be issued and your immigration status will move to a fully digital format. Please get in touch with us via [email protected] and leave your details and I will get in touch to help you at very reasonable price. Please note holders of BRC do not need to do this procedure as they already have a digital account at UKVI (holders of settled or pre-settled statuses for example).

Exchange is free of charge, but you will need to submit an application and attend biometric appointment at the visa application centre.
My fee for dealing with exchange is £120.

– наличие предложения о работе — 20 баллов;

– высококвалифицированная должность — 20 баллов;

– знание английского на должном уровне — 10 баллов;

– зарплата от £25600 в год — 20 баллов;

– зарплата от £23040 до £25599 в год — 10 баллов;

– зарплата от £20480 до £23039 в год — 0 баллов;

– профессия из списка дефицитных — 20 баллов;

– степень PhD в области, связанной с должностью — 10 баллов;
