Thank you to the 200+ people who joined us last night at the House of Commons for an evening that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
Hosted by Rt Hon Caroline Nokes MP, the evening brought together women and men from across law, engineering and policy - united by a shared belief that the story of womenβs representation is still being written.
There was something powerful about being in that building, walking past statue after statue of men, and gathering to discover how the first statue depicting a woman came to be placed at the heart of London, in Parliament Square.
Thank you to our partners - the National Association of Women in Construction, the Contemporary Art Society and Limeslade - and to our panel Jordan Kaplan, Joanna Baxendale, Tony Dyson and moderator , who revisited the making of the Millicent Fawcett statue and what it took to place her there.
Evenings like this fuel everything we do.
Thank you Marcos Bevilacqua for the photos π
