In Manchester/ Salford. OMG. What a complete balls up has been created.I came to pay my last respects to my Mum who at 94 now has a very short time. She has had a great life and achieved many things such as having an eldest Son who does not only hold a Royal Charter but is a great songwriter a brilliant bass player and a passable guitarist. I became the victim of an on line scam in renting accommodation through Air B&B. Another site has attached itself to ABB who are presenting properties at realistic prices but the address is never complete and you (I) spent ages trying to find the property I had rented was not there, it did not exist. Its all very plausible and looks the part but the money is taken. In this case, the properties are a web site that has attached itself to ABB log in's. But it is pure fiction. My ex, Jill has a large 4 bedroom house and she rents out two of the bedrooms through ABB. Having cohosted it with her for several years, I know it as a credible and useful business that helps people gain income through their very good service. I know Jill found it quite useful. But I've now lost around £300. and last night I found myself stuck in a place with no hotels, I had used plaes to get here so no car and no where to sleep. No nearby hotels, nothing. So I spend the night in someones outdoor tool Shed. I ache, I'm tired and out of pocket. I'll get Jill to complain to ABB and they may give me a partial refund but everyone watch out, the scammers are out there and will screw you anyway they can.
