Azlan Azhari has died at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah after collapsing during a rugby match over the weekend. He was 22 years old.

The Kedah player had been receiving treatment for internal bleeding and heat stroke after falling ill during Kedah’s Agong’s Cup Group A clash against Johor in Sintok on Saturday.

The rugby community is mourning after a young player tragically died following a collapse during a match, with tributes pouring in for the promising athlete.

CTE lawsuit filed by family of 1950s player results in $140 million verdict against NCAA

J.T. Davis played college football for SMU in the 1950s. He died after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s disease, following a diagnosis in 2001. Davis was diagnosed with Stage 4 CTE in 2017, after his passing. ❤️

His family filed a lawsuit against the NCAA in 2020. Recently, a jury awarded the family $30 million in compensatory damages and $110 million in punitive damages, for a total verdict of $140 million.
