“Home” has always meant more to me than just a space to live in. ✨

I’ve seen so many of these from US first and then the UK so I can’t remember whose is whose but here is the prompt.

The first one I received showed me as a white blonde female which is why I have heavily made a concerted effort to do AI images with black/asian female images in content over the last number of months. So they recognise different ethnicities.

I was also tall (I’m 5’0), from US (I’m from U.K.), not a coffee drinker, love tea (drrr) and U.K. doesn’t have to mean London and M & S (although it did according to him) and not everyone likes fur so that had to go….Ta da!…Here we are 😅

YOU’RE LEAVING A MESS

Early this week I had a conversation with another tech company.

I am a consumer of the company. It’s a fantastic product and I was considering working with them.

I pointed out the legal implications of decisions they were making and their response suggested to me that the tech founder was only interested in making money.

They didn’t care about their consumers.

The fact that I knew the law affecting AI meant that their decisions would not affect me because I brought power to that discussion as a legal professional who happened to be a consumer.

However I was left uneasy with the knowledge and feeling that they appeared to take a cavalier attitude to their consumers.

In their aim to make money, and build a reputation the legacy they were leaving was mess, damage for their clients, and ultimately themselves.

It’s important to me to find my people.

DON’T BE LEGALLY CANCELLED!

Most "known" entrepreneurs on social media talk a big game. It’s like they want their name in lights.

We scroll social media and the same names pop up, the people who take to the big stages, the name drops, the memberships we’re in, the people who we hear have wronged us, wronged others, and the people who have been cancelled.

What I see when I watch those people who speak up about something is either they may know what they’re talking about or don’t have a clue, I see most of them wanting to leave a legacy. That’s not a bad thing but that’s not the full story because most of those people who you look up to, who you compare yourself against, most of them sound like they have it all together but most of them legally have no clue.

What I see is them avoiding legal issues, pretending one doesn’t exist, bigging up their outward successes and downplaying their failures or things that they have become exposed to legally.

Usually the average entrepreneur will tell me that they don’t care about legacy.

And this is because normally they don’t have the time to take a breath and realise that they should be concerned about legacy. Their immediate concern is simply trying to breathe, trying to stop panicking, trying to hold everything together in their business.

I’m not claiming that my 3 day Legacy Foundations event is going to solve all your legal business concerns. For the fee and the time available with me you already know that would not be true. However, this is about you having time to slowly breathe, having space to think and getting your foundations right so that you can begin to leave the legacy you’re actively building.

It’s identifying your gaps so that you’re being proactive when faced with a legal issue or dispute rather than reacting like the average entrepreneur, because you’re worth more than that.

You have something that you have spent time creating and you want to protect it, more than simply registering a trademark to protect your intellectual property. If you think that registering a trademark is the only way to protect your business, think again.
