The 'Society of Football Intermediaries and Agents' (SOFIA) is an independent representative organisation aimed at those authorised to operate in the field of professional football representation under the regulatory guidelines from FIFA entitled 'Regulations on Working with Intermediaries' that came into force in April 2015. SOFIA was established in 2017, after a year planning by a working group

of agents, intemediaries, lawyers and football participants with the objective to provide professional agents and interemediaries registered in the United Kingdom and operating in the United Kingdom with a truly representative voice.
