City Wings is the first "wildlife management" company in central London.
Wildlife Management is an innovative concept: it means a compassionate (cruelty free), sustainable way of dealing with animal species sometime considered as "pests" by people, particularly in modern urban environments.
City Wings will use peacefull methods such as the setting of live traps to remove "unwanted" animals for customers places without harming them (instead of killing them as all traditional pest control companies do) and will relocate them in association to wildlife protection organisations.
This way of dealing with animals is in fact the only one in agreement with the Animal Welfare Act in the UK.
The Pest Control industry infringe the legality by slaughtering millions of animals and baby animals, employing methods so cruel that, if they were used by particular people, would have them prosecuted straight away for animal cruelty. But these companies are powerful enough to be above the law...
At City Wings we are hoping to change this state of things. By saving several thousands of lives of city animals every year while meeting the needs of our clients, our aim is to demonstrate that the horrendous methods of the traditional pest control companies are as useless as they are cruel.
We would like to make an impact so that this compassionate, sustainable relation to the wildlife would inspire others all over the uk and beyond in the future. But for this vision to become a reality we will need help from all animal lovers. We are beginning our company with a capital of zero and rely on fundraising to get our company started, with a business facility, a transport van, instruments such as ladders, humane traps, cleaning and repair tools, safety work wear and deterrence products, as well as communication and office equipment.
The money needed to make this possible is like a drop in the ocean compared to the multi billions of profits that the pest control industry generate, by their daily activities of murdering living creatures and poisonning the environment.
But nevertheless this little drop in their face, has the potential to undermine their deadly prosperity...
