Lillesden School, Hawkhurst. Kent lillesden school for girls Penny Macadam was in our class leaving in 1977, her daughter Zoe has a Fund Me page, to help her get her daughter back, its a tragic story. If any one can help here it is
Hi, my name is Zoe.
I was in an abusive relationship for 7 years. The only good I got out of the relationship was my 4 year old daughter, in March 2020. After my ex and I split up, he verbally abused me and criticised me as a mother. He did other things that the police have investigated too, which resulted in me having a mental breakdown in July 2022, I couldn't be the best mother for my daughter so he had her temporarily - and even told me it was temporary until I got better. In November 2022, he stopped me seeing my daughter, I wasn't allowed to see her or even talk to her. For TEN months, I was not allowed to see my daughter. In March 2023, he moved 2 hours away to Nottingham, without telling me and took our daughter. I was told by CAFCASS that my daughter had forgot me and that she thought my exes new partner was mummy. It broke my heart. I've been fighting to get her back since.
Due to being domestically abused, I qualified for legal aid, which means my funding for a solicitor and barristers are sorted. Recently, my exes solicitor wrote a letter to the legal aid agency to have my legal aid stopped as it's a "waste of public funds". Today - 27/09/2024 - I received an email stating I need to either come up with £4000 + fees for my barrister because they haven't decided if my legal aid will be reinstated and I need this money by the 30th of September. My court dates are the 1st and 2nd of October. I've been blindsided and I'm heartbroken.
All I want is for my daughter to be with me, like she used to be.
