Meet , Solicitor and Director at Switalskis, and one of our Women Who Will 2026.

Amy specialises in child sexual abuse compensation claims, representing survivors in some of the UK's most high-profile cases, including Rotherham, West Yorkshire, and systemic failings in South London. She represented 28 survivors as Core Participants in IICSA and has raised public awareness through Channel 4's Groomed: A National Scandal and coverage in The Sunday Times. Amy is a Law Society Council Member for Yorkshire and Humberside and Switalskis' Training Principal.

Sixteen years ✨

Well, it does not happen because of one person. It happens because a team keeps showing up, long after the idea stopped being new and started being normal.

Change is rarely a leap. It is subtle, built in consistency, not bold moves.

Thank you to everyone who has built Obelisk with us: the team, the Community, and every client who took a chance on a different way of doing things.

One week into year seventeen, and it already feels like home.

Last night, we celebrated our returners. And it was everything.
We were welcomed by the brilliant team at Diageo — and together, we marked something that matters deeply to us: lawyers coming back to the profession they never really left.
Obelisk Support has been running the legal sector’s longest — and still running — returner development programme. We started because we believed something simple: career breaks don’t cancel talent. They shape it.
The lawyers in that room last night are proof of that every single day.
They stepped away for their children. For their health. For their families. For the honest, human demands of a life fully lived. They didn’t stop being brilliant lawyers. The profession just stopped making room for them.
We exist to change that.
To every returner we celebrated last night — you don’t need to prove yourself. You need a programme that believes in you while you find your footing. That’s what this is. That’s what it has always been.
To our mentors, supporters, and to Diageo for opening your doors and your culture to this conversation — thank you. This is what human-first leadership looks like in practice.
Fourteen years in, we are more convinced than ever.
