The Court of Appeal decision today to rule 'unlawful' the Government's plans to deport some of the most vulnerable people in the world to Rwanda is a welcome moment of humanity and humility in the midst of one of the most repressive, regressive and oppressive Government policies in British history.

The government is failing to comply with the law and instead of correcting their practice they try to blame lawyers. There is a reason why judges rule in favour of these appellants and that is because the Home Office repeatedly fail to comply with the law. The Home Office should concentrate on getting their own practices in line with the law instead of alienating and blaming lawyers

In the recording we hear two navy captains decide which one of them would rescue a boat destined toward danger. But of course the story gets twisted by one of the leading proponents of the industry
So sad that human life can be reduced to such a level that anyone saving lives gets criticised
