You’ve implemented a CLM system, but no one is using it. Now what?

In this short video, Beth Britton explains that the issue is rarely the technology itself.

Understanding user behaviour is the key to making CLM implementation deliver and stick.

From uncovering simple adoption barriers, to fixing what’s really getting in the way, Beth gives her practical take on why change management matters just as much as the tech.

If you’re facing similar challenges, DM Beth directly or visit our website to learn more.

In this short demo, Beth shows how in-house legal teams can free up capacity without losing control by using a self-service tool like Leah.

If you’re exploring introducing a self-service tool, visit our website or DM Beth to continue the conversation.

We’re heading to Crafty Fest next week and can’t wait to see you there! 🦊

Ed Browne will be on the theatre stage talking about the topic of our upcoming white paper: the multigenerational legal team.

We’re partnering with CraftyCounsel to deep dive into this topic, and would love to have you involved.

Come and talk to us on 3 June about how you can add your voice to this research; you’ll find Ed and the Pinsent Masons Vario team in the main tent.

We’ll also be serving our much-loved cocktails (yes, the Lawberry Daiquiri and Subpiña Colada are back!) 🍸

Client expectations shift and transformation is no longer an optional bonus for in-house legal teams.

Modern operations require a more strategic approach that delivers speed, transparency and predictable delivery.

Combining smart use of technology with service-oriented process design and change management facilitates just that.

AI and legal tech are advancing faster than most organisations can embed them.

This is reshaping roles (both legal and other), challenging existing processes and how calling into question how legal work gets done.

Change might life start as a discrete project, but it's important that it evolves into a continuous improvement cycle to sustain progress over time.

Legal transformation isn’t a one-off project.

In-house legal departments and law firms need to adopt a continuous transformation mindset towards change rather than viewing incidents of change in isolation.

This journey can be shaped by technology, regulation and evolving expectations, but the challenge is to develop a model that adapts as fast as change itself.

Legal career paths are changing as the industry embraces a broader spectrum of professional ambitions.

Lyndon Jennings recently contributed to an article by Sam Kenworthy with Gazette on whether the traditional partnership career ladder has lost its shine.

Amongst his comments, Lyndon observes that lawyers who become freelancers with Pinsent Masons Vario are driven by a wide range of factors including:

âś… Wanting greater variety of work
âś… Needing more flexibility
âś… Having more control over their career path

This may diverge from the traditional partnership model, but it doesn't render it redundant (nor does it need to).

It's simply a recognition that different lawyers want different things out of their careers.

As a part of Pinsent Masons, we get to support professionals on both sides of this coin.

Has the holy grail of partnership lost its lustre? Sam Kenworthy investigates.
