London Lawyers Condemn Fake Social Media Video; Legal Action Initiated
An emergency meeting of prominent lawyers was held in London, where the legal community strongly and unequivocally condemned the false and fabricated video circulating on social media.
The participants unanimously agreed that strict legal action would be taken without delay against those involved in this malicious act, in order to uphold the rule of law.
It was further decided that both civil and criminal proceedings would be initiated against the responsible individuals, and all available legal avenues would be pursued to ensure that the perpetrators receive appropriate punishment in accordance with the law.
Furthermore, participants were informed that legal proceedings have already commenced, and the matter has also been taken to the High Court of England and Wales.
The meeting also resolved to establish a joint legal fund to ensure effective and coordinated legal action against such crimes in the future.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the International Lawyers Club, Choudhry Rizwan Sulehria, and Director, Hafiz Abdul Ghani, who participated specially. They expressed their full support for this initiative and assured complete cooperation from the club.

لندن میں ممتاز وکلاء کا ایک ہنگامی اجلاس منعقد ہوا، جس میں سوشل میڈیا پر پھیلائی جانے والی جھوٹی اور من گھڑت ویڈیو کی شدید اور غیر مبہم الفاظ میں مذمت کی گئی۔
اجلاس کے شرکاء نے اس امر پر مکمل اتفاق کیا کہ اس گھناؤنے عمل میں ملوث عناصر کے خلاف بلا تاخیر سخت قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی، تاکہ قانون کی بالادستی کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔
اجلاس میں یہ بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ ذمہ دار افراد کے خلاف دیوانی اور فوجداری دونوں نوعیت کی کارروائیاں شروع کی جائیں گی، اور اس سلسلے میں تمام دستیاب قانونی راستے بروئے کار لائے جائیں گے تاکہ مجرم عناصر کو قانون کے مطابق قرار واقعی سزا دی جا سکے۔
مزید برآں، شرکاء کو آگاہ کیا گیا کہ اس معاملے میں عدالتی کارروائی کا باقاعدہ آغاز ہو چکا ہے، اور ہائی کورٹ آف انگلینڈ اینڈ ویلز سے بھی رجوع کر لیا گیا ہے۔
اجلاس میں مستقبل میں اس نوعیت کے جرائم کے مؤثر سدباب کے لیے ایک مشترکہ قانونی فنڈ کے قیام کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا، تاکہ ایسے واقعات کے خلاف منظم اور مؤثر قانونی حکمتِ عملی اختیار کی جا سکے۔
اس اہم اجلاس میں چیئرمین انٹرنیشنل لائرز کلب، چوہدری رضوان سلہریا، اور ڈائریکٹر، حافظ عبدالغنی نے خصوصی شرکت کی۔ انہوں نے کلب کی جانب سے اس اقدام کی بھرپور حمایت کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے مکمل تعاون کی یقین دہانی کروائی اور اگلے ماہ اس اہم موضوع پر برطانیہ بھر کے وکلاء اور سول سوسائٹی کا اجلاس بلانے کا اعلان کیا-
