I just want to break some myths about using a licenced Immigration adviser to assist with your move to New Zealand.
Firstly it is your choice. It can work either way but with an adviser, the chances of succeeding are increased and the risks are minimised.
Not all immigration advisers provide assistance or guidance on how to secure a job offer in New Zealand. A job offer is essential for most people who want to make the move.
It is not just about filling out application forms.
Anyone can fill out a form. It is the information and documentation that gets submitted alongside the form that gets a visa issued or declined. It is often about liaising with the employer, especially with the new system of employer accreditation.
When it comes to the costs involved you need to look at the big picture, not just the fee the adviser charges.
Look at the fees you pay the NZ Govt. medicals, police checks, the costs of getting to New Zealand, finding somewhere to live etc
If the costs are too high then maybe you aren't ready to move yet.
Fees are set to allow the advisers to deliver the service their clients need.
Finally, if you are applying for jobs in NZ and not getting anywhere ask yourself this question.
If you keep doing what you are currently doing aren't you going to keep getting the same results?
If you want to increase your chances, minimise your risks by getting a full assessment with us that includes a consultation with me and gives you the info you need to make some decisions.
