Back from a much-needed holiday — my first break of the year.

The last six months have been a whirlwind, and I've been so focused on the business that

I haven't really stopped to catch my breath. Taking a few days away has given me the chance to recharge and reflect on how far things have come.

Now it's time to get back to it, and I'm looking forward to kicking off June with over 20 people starting new roles. Helping people take the next step in their careers is still one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Running your own business isn't always easy, and there are plenty of challenges along the way, but moments like these make the hard work worthwhile.
Rosie is feeling refreshed too, and we've already got a few more holidays booked for later in the year — something to look forward to amongst the busy days ahead.
Here's to a positive and productive June for everyone.

Another hectic week in the books at Clarke Legal Specialists⁠.
7 offers secured and 13 interviews completed this week alone.

Recruitment always comes with highs and lows. Some great news delivered and unfortunately some disappointing conversations too.

But as I always say to anyone unsuccessful, things happen for a reason… and the worse news is you’re stuck with me a little while longer while we secure the next opportunity.

Honestly, it feels like we brought in the New Year, blinked, and suddenly we’re nearly halfway through May already.

We’ve got a number of new starters beginning next week, so best of luck to every single one of you starting your new roles.

June is also set to be the biggest month in my 20+ years in recruitment, with over 20 Permanent starters commencing across the month.

June is going to be a BIG one, and July is already shaping up to look very similar.
