I had a great little property win not long ago, I picked up two bargain properties myself at auction, and the numbers stacked up really well, so now I'm looking for more. Big news for my new property sourcing business, Courtney Property Sourcing 🏡

I've officially had my TPO (The Property Ombudsman) membership approved, thats the proper redress scheme, with a governing body to answer to if things ever go wrong. That means an extra layer of protection for anyone I work with, and it's a big part of doing this properly and compliantly, alongside HMRC Anti Money Laundering supervision, National Crime Agency registration, and the right insurance.
It means a lot to me, because it's exactly how I want to run this business: properly, transparently, with investors' trust at the centre.
One more big step sorted on the way to getting Courtney Property Sourcing fully up and running 🎉

Well, our 1st year birthday/August Summer Social for my Property Networking Group went brilliantly!! After my last video where I was about to go into the 1st year celebration of the property networking group I set up in Sefton, Liverpool, I was a bit nervous for some reason, but absolutely didnt need to be! It was a brilliant night, loads of new connections made, plenty of business done as well! We had landlords, property investors, property developers, trades, deal sourcers, interior designers, estate agent, cleaning companies & a social media expert! What a night! Thank you to all who came!!!

Had a really lovely update this week, helped connect a seller with an investor after her house had been sitting on the market for 9+ months with no offers, despite really trying to get it sold.
No pressure negotiation, straightforward terms, and a sale expected to complete in 4-6 weeks. She's absolutely made up, no more viewings, no more waiting, and she can finally get on with her next chapter -if her and her husband travelling the world!

I bought at my first property auction not long ago, I was thinking 'Oh god, what am I doing?!'. I'd drawn equity out of a property and thought I'd try my hand at auction, bidding on 2 little studio pods with guide prices of £5,000 each. I knew my max bid and kept it firmly in mind - thankfully didn't need to go anywhere near it! Won both for really good prices. Bidding for property at auction isn't for the faint hearted!

Getting into the Airbnb game! Before any property auctions, before joining Prosperity Network, before any of it, my actual first step into property was turning a house I'd previously rented into an Airbnb, starting completely from scratch. Fully furnished a 3 bed house after a 7 year tenant left, and learned so much about staging, pricing, booking platforms and compliance along the way! Later did a £6k partial refurb - fresh paint, new flooring, kitchen respray, new furniture and bedding - and bookings took off. Right by Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium too, so does brilliantly for match days and gigs.
