Having joined the firm in 2005 as part of the Litigation Department, Sara has progressed through senior operational roles and joined the Board of Directors in 2024. She brings deep institutional knowledge alongside a forward-thinking approach to leadership and compliance, and is particularly proud of her work supporting women in the legal profession.

The North West has just recorded the strongest annual house price growth in the UK at 3.2% in March 2026, ahead of every other region. Liverpool prices are up 1.4% year-on-year, with a median sale price of around £160,000.

Rental growth in the city is at 3.9%, one of the fastest rates outside London. And first-time buyers continue to benefit from prices that sit well below the stamp duty threshold.

This week is Dementia Action Week, run by the Alzheimer's Society. Someone develops dementia every three minutes in the UK, and around 900,000 people are currently living with the condition.

It's also one of the most important reasons to put a Lasting Power of Attorney in place while you still have the capacity to do so.

An LPA lets you choose someone you trust to make decisions on your behalf if you can no longer make them yourself.

Without an LPA, your loved ones would need to apply to the Court of Protection. That process is far more expensive, slow and stressful than setting up an LPA in advance.
