Exchange and completion are two key stages in buying a property, and they’re often confused.

📑 Exchange of contracts is when the deal becomes legally binding. At this point, both buyer and seller are committed, and a completion date is agreed.

🔑 Completion is the final step, when ownership officially transfers and you can collect the keys.
The time between the two can vary, depending on what’s agreed.

Ciara joins our Commercial Property department as a Paralegal, bringing with her over seven years of experience across both Commercial and Residential Property.

Having completed her Paralegal Qualification with The University of Law, Ciara supports a wide range of transactions including leases, commercial purchases and sales, and conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.

With a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency and client care, Ciara is experienced in drafting legal documents and liaising with clients and third parties to help transactions progress smoothly.
Outside of work, Ciara is a busy mum of three who loves spending quality time with her family whenever she can.
