🏆 WHAT A YEAR FOR MADDIE BURGESS! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud of Maddie Burgess, who has had an absolutely phenomenal year in bowls. The list of achievements is seriously impressive!

🥇 Johns Trophy with the Leicestershire women’s team — their first win in 33 years
🏆 Women’s Singles Champion
🏆 Champion of Champions
🥈 Silver in the Junior Pairs
🥈 Silver in the Amy Rose competition
Maddie has become only the second woman EVER to win both the Women’s Singles and Champion of Champions titles in the same year — a feat that had not been achieved since 2004!

To achieve all of this in one year is a remarkable accomplishment and one that deserves some serious recognition. Maddie’s talent, determination and hard work have clearly paid off.

We’re absolutely delighted to see one of our own achieving so much — what an incredible year!

Congratulations to Olivia Peck, who has qualified as a Solicitor in our Crime Team. Olivia joined the firm at 16 years old in our reception team, she then completed her police station accreditation and joined the crime team as a clerk. She has then worked full-time whilst achieving her qualifications to become a solicitor part-time.
We are so proud to have supported Olivia along this journey and we are excited for what is to come!
