A proud moment for our team, and a milestone for Buxton Coates! 🎉

We're delighted to announce that Elizabeth Last and Deniz Altin have been promoted to Legal Directors in Employment Law & HR and Commercial Property respectively.

These are the first appointments of their kind in the firm, reflecting our commitment to developing our team and strengthening the expertise our clients rely on.

Elizabeth joined us as a paralegal in 2018 and began her training contract in 2021. She qualified as an employment solicitor in 2023, becoming Associate Solicitor and Manager of Employment & HR in 2024. Her latest promotion is another proud milestone in a career built with us.

Deniz first joined in 2019 as an Assistant Solicitor. We were delighted to welcome him back as an Associate Solicitor in 2023, and now celebrate his promotion to Legal Director in Commercial Property.

Thomas Coates, Managing Director, says: "Creating our first Legal Director roles is an important step for the firm. Sarah and I are proud of everything Elizabeth and Deniz have achieved. They have earned these promotions, and we're delighted they'll help shape our next stage of growth."

Both bring dedication and care to their work. Their new roles provide opportunities to support colleagues, shape our future and continue delivering for our clients.
