The Warwick Law Clinic

The Warwick Law Clinic Drop in for free legal advice provided by Law students from the University of Warwick and trainee solicitors from Wright Hassall.

The Warwick Law Clinic operates with the University of Warwick and local law firm Wright Hassall to provide free legal guidance to members of the public. At the Warwick Law Clinic, students interview clients alongside trainee solicitors and/or legal professionals from Wright Hassall to ascertain the legal problem. Legal research is then undertaken by a student and a letter is drafted, detailing le

gal guidance for the client. The letter is reviewed by a solicitor at Wright Hassall to ensure the guidance is accurate, and this is then given to the client the following week. The Warwick Law Clinic has dealt with a wide variety of legal issues. In the past this has included, but is not limited to:
• Divorce proceedings and family law
• Property relations
• Negligence claims
• Employer/employee liability

As part of our commitment to support our local community we are delighted to be offering a free legal clinic, which is held at our offices in Leamington Spa on the third Wednesday of each month. Run in conjunction with the University of Warwick legal department, we also support their law degree students in developing their legal skills through their supervised participation in these sessions by one of our lawyers.
