Warning! Google Nest v3 known fault, don’t get left without heating..
In the past month we have been called out to two properties, with failed heating.
There is a known fault with some v3 Nest Thermostats, causing total failure on the heatlink (the white box which controls your system, and sits between the thermostat and your boiler itself).
Google has apparently attempted email contact for any likely affected units, but many people aren’t acting on it.
The good news is that Google has taken a proactive approach, and put in place a very efficient repair program, sending out an engineer to replace the heatlink itself, at no cost to you!! But only for v3 units.
So don’t get caught out, if you have one of these units, or an email from Google, look into it now before it fails, this isn’t the time of year to be without hot water and heating….
