Billy Torbett has successfully secured convictions following a 5-day trial at the Crown Court, acting on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service.

Mr. Torbett was instructed to prosecute a defendant who, at the time of the proceedings, had been remanded in custody at a secure treatment facility. The case concerned a series of offences committed against emergency workers within HMP Hull.

Over the course of the trial, the prosecution presented detailed evidence relating to the incidents, highlighting the seriousness of offences directed towards prison and emergency service personnel carrying out their duties in a custodial environment. Following deliberations, the jury returned guilty verdicts.
