What a weekend for Ipswich Book Festival 📚

We were incredibly proud to sponsor this year’s festival and to see it come to life across Ipswich, bringing authors, readers and the wider community together for a weekend celebrating books, ideas and storytelling.

Kelly and Kirsten were also volunteering at Old Custom House, where Kelly had the opportunity to introduce a session with Peter Berry and Deb Bunt, who were discussing their book "Slow Puncture", which explores Peter's experience of early-onset dementia.

The session was particularly meaningful for us given our connection with Memory Lane Cafe, which Smith & Co has supported for several years.

It was fantastic to see such a successful weekend of events taking place in Ipswich, and we’re pleased to have been a part of something that brings so much to the town’s cultural calendar.

Kelly and Kirsten really enjoyed being part of the team behind the festival, and we'd like to thank everyone involved in making it such a success. We hope to be back next year! 💚

Last week, Kelly and Carrie headed to London for Footprint Digital’s AI & The Future of Professional Services Marketing session at Clifford Chance.

From how AI is changing marketing and client engagement to the opportunities and risks that come with adoption, the session explored some of the questions that professional services firms will be thinking about for years to come.
