We would like to wish the very best of luck to Emily Ross and Georgia Thomson as they take on the incredible challenge of trekking Mount Kilimanjaro this October in support of Highland Hospice. ⛰️💛
The pair are undertaking the trek in memory of Georgia's mum, Maratena Coleman, who spent her final six weeks at Highland Hospice.
Reaching the 19,341ft summit will be a deeply personal moment. Georgia's parents had once planned to get married at the top of Kilimanjaro, making the journey even more meaningful as she carries a piece of her mum with her to the summit.
They are aiming to raise an incredible £12,000 and already have several fundraising events planned, including a Wine Tasting Evening, bag packing at Tesco and a Pub Quiz.
With fantastic support from friends, family, colleagues at RSE and match funding from Heather’s Heroes, they're well on their way.
