Carers Week β Day 3 π
Today, let's take a moment to recognise the incredible dedication of unpaid carers who provide support, comfort, and care to loved ones every single day.
Being a carer often means putting someone else's needs before your own, navigating difficult decisions, and carrying responsibilities that many people never see. Your compassion and commitment make a huge difference.
As someone who works with families every day through estate planning, I regularly meet carers who are managing not only day-to-day care but also important legal and financial matters for their loved ones.
One of the most important things carers can do is ensure the right legal protections are in place, such as Lasting Powers of Attorney and up-to-date Wills. Having these arrangements sorted can make life much easier during challenging times and provide peace of mind for everyone involved.
π If you're a carer, thank you for everything you do. π If you know a carer, take a moment today to check in on them and let them know they're appreciated.
