The countdown is on for our Accounts department, Sarah and Luke, who take part in the London to Brighton 55-mile Bike Ride next month to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research, a fantastic charity working to help make a difference to men and their families.

We’ve officially celebrated our 200th anniversary!

Our garden party was held in the grounds of our Abbots Manor office last month and we were delighted to welcome over 150 guests including staff, their families, local business contacts and members of the original Mossop family. The evening honoured the history of Mossop & Bowser, with newspaper articles dating back to the 1900s, photos of the office as a family home and a speech thanking our Consultant Solicitor, Peter Brown, for an extraordinary 51 years of service. It also looked to future, formally welcoming Gemma Newton and Oliver Farmer as Partners as well as acknowledging our newest trainees and young lawyers.

We would like to extend our thanks to the local suppliers who helped to make the event such a success. Food was served by G.Shearer & Son Butchers , and a Bar was provided by Fen Field Events / Holbeach Mobile Bars . A variety of cupcakes was provided by Cherry Farm Bakes and Steven Lee Vocals , The Bounce House Party and Peachey magic kept everyone entertained. The final look was brought together with tents, prints, and decorations from Wells Marquees , Newton Press Ltd , and Cards and More .

This achievement could not have been possible without our fantastic staff and the trust and confidence of our clients, who have chosen us to guide them through some of life’s most important challenges and decisions for generations.

These guys really are about the community. They sponsor and support so many things you have no idea on. They have helped us with our charity events along with coming to classes as well.
Go check these guys out. They are real people just like you and I. And get those wills sorted peeps please!!!
I beg you to make sure they are correct. Don’t have a mess like I’ve had to deal with. That’s why I’ve been so stressed lately. The end is in sight though….

It is less than two months until our Accounts department, Sarah and Luke, take part in the London to Brighton 55-mile Bike Ride on 13th September 2026 to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research. 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and this invaluable charity works to help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected.
