Proud moment for the Bespoke Law Services team!

We were delighted to join the Golf Day at Mannings Heath Golf Club last week, supporting a truly worthwhile cause. Alongside a great day of golf, networking, and good food, it was fantastic to hear more about the incredible work being done to support children and families.

A big shout out to Josh Woodyatt, Luke Webber, Joe Johnson from our sales team, and Rosie Illes, our legal assistant for representing Bespoke Law Services on the day!

Together, the day raised just under £10,000, enough to fund a full year of access to services for one child in need.

We're proud to have been part of such a special event, and a big thank you to the organisers for having us. Here's to supporting more days like this!

We’re proud to share that 2 of our Sales Advisors Dan Rouse & Kai Jutson are sponsoring for a skydiving challenge on Friday 24th July in support of Young Lives vs Cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer is also Bespoke Law’s Charity of the Year, making this cause even more meaningful to support.

Despite already smashing their original target, we’re continuing to raise as much as possible for this incredible charity and the vital work they do. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference and is hugely appreciated.

Thank you so much for your support. Dan & Kai will need it!

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our founder and head of the Bespoke Law Services family, Thelma Horne, who left us on the 16th June 2025. Her passing leaves a significant void in our firm.

Thanks to Thelma’s strength, vision, and unwavering values, we remain united and committed to upholding the work ethic and dedication that she instilled in all of us. Her legacy continues to guide everything we do.

A celebration of Thelma’s life and her funeral will be held on Friday 11th July. In honour of her memory, our offices will close from 2:00 PM on that day.

As Thelma would expect, we will have a small number of team members remaining in the office to ensure our clients continue to be cared for and that any scheduled exchanges or completions proceed without disruption.

Thank you for your support during this time.

Exchange of Contracts – What Does It Actually Mean?

The exchange of contracts is the moment your property purchase becomes legally binding!

Here’s what happens:
🔄 The buyer & seller sign identical contracts.
📞 Their solicitors swap them via a verbal agreement over the phone.
💰 The buyer pays a deposit – backing out now could mean losing it!

Once exchanged, a completion date (moving day!) is locked in. 🎉
