ABLE was established in 2004 as a professional association dedicated to supporting constructive engagement between the United Kingdom and Nigeria on matters affecting Nigerians in the UK, particularly within the fields of law enforcement, public safety, and community relations. As a trusted professional network of British-Nigerian law enforcement and public service professionals, ABLE provides a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and knowledge sharing between institutions, policymakers, and communities. The organisation contributes strategic insight, professional expertise, and community perspectives to support effective partnerships and informed decision-making within the framework of applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. ABLE is committed to strengthening understanding and cooperation between UK and Nigerian law enforcement agencies while fostering greater engagement with the Nigerian diaspora.
