The most recent increase in application fees took effect from 24 July 2024. The fee for applications for leave to remain is now £1,285.00 for applicants in most family and private life categories. This is a jump from £1,048.00. The Home Office intended to increase fees last October, but have cited "technical issues" as the reason for the delay. If you have applied for a fee waiver before 24 July and it is refused, you should still be able to submit your application at the old fee level.
