Today's outside tap installation came with a very important site supervisor 👷
Great to see the interest, even if it was a strange man drilling into the side of the house.
It got me thinking, moments like these are probably where a lot of interests begin for kids, something as simple as watching someone build, fix, or create, for many different jobs out there, can leave a real impression,

He was keen to make sure the job was finished quickly so there'd be no delays to paddling pool duties this weekend ☀️💦

💦A bit of power washing is always a satisfying job. The front of this house has it's kerb appeal upgraded, power washed and then treated with biocide to kill any remaining and further growth

🔨Always good getting a project done in the sunshine and finished on a Friday night. Enjoyed this pergola build, with L planters and Venetian slat wall and deep sleeper bench. Perfect for the evening summer barbeques or morning coffee and bistro breakfast in the sun.

🔨Subtle but effective alcove shelving.🔨
This customer needed a tidy up of some old shelving units which were not fit for purpose, sagging, doors hanging off and generally just not any good. Also needed some boxing and cabinet doors made to hide the fuse board and electric meter. As what was there before wasn't very sightly.
✅I stripped all the shelving out and rebuilt them using 18mm Ply, MDF, and redwood facing. All glues and screwed together creating a subtle 45mm shelf that can withstand substantial weight.
Everything sanded, twice filled, sanded many times in between coats, 2 tins of primer and many coats of Matt paint, it's come up very clean and tidy. With the confidence that these shelves are built to last.

🔧👨‍🔧Toilet repair. Changing out cistern internals.
💦This customers toilet was constantly running through the night, identified to be a faulty fill valve. Best thing to do in this situation is take out the old cheap components and replace with reliable, branded components.
