What a great 4 nights away. Views were amazing driving the roads up to Applecross and then down to Port Appin. Both are definitely worth a visit if you can. The Pierhouse Hotel was a great last stop to relax before the drive back.

📣Office of the Public Guardian Scotland Fee update!

From the 1st April 2026 the fee payable to the Office of the Public Guardian Scotland will be increasing as per the newly implemented 2026 Regulations.

Their fees have remained fixed at £96 since 1st November 2024 as per the Statutory Instrument implemented at that time.

From the 1st April 2026 the fee for registering Powers of Attorney will increase to £99, thereafter on the 1st April 2027 the fee will rise to £102.

These fees will apply to all Welfare, Continuing and Combined Powers of Attorney registered after 1st April 2026, unless a fee exemption applies.
