Meningioma is a tumour that develops on the membranes surrounding the brain. It can grow slowly for years before anyone notices. A study published in the British Medical Journal in 2024 found that women who used Pfizer's Depo-Provera were five times more likely to develop one.

These are the symptoms many women dismiss as stress, tiredness, or age:
