This is something I’ve been thinking about for a long time.
Through Àrachas³, I work closely with social enterprises, charities and community organisations across Scotland. And one thing I see again and again is that people have strong ideas. They care deeply about their communities. But they’re often left to figure out the complex parts of building an organisation on their own.
Governance, structure, sustainability… It’s a lot, especially at the start.
That’s why I’ve decided to do something about it.
I’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign to open up places on a Social Enterprise Group Cohort Programme, a supportive space where social enterprises can step back, get clarity, and build strong foundations alongside others.
I’ve run similar support before and have seen firsthand the difference it can make. People come in feeling overwhelmed or unsure, and leave with more confidence, clearer direction, and practical tools they can actually use. That’s what I want more people to have access to.
The aim is simple to help good ideas become strong, sustainable organisations.
If you’ve ever worked with me, accessed my support, or simply value what I’m trying to build through Àrachas³, I’d really appreciate your support; even a small amount makes a difference.
And as a thank you:
You could win back your donation
Win a 1:1 strategy or governance session
or win a fully funded place on the cohort
If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this would mean a lot.
Thank you for being part of this. If this resonates, I’d love you to share or comment, it really helps more than you know.
