MDDUS is looking for Dento-legal Advisory professionals to join our Dental Team in what is very exciting period of transformational growth for the business.

Based in our London or Glasgow office, you will provide advice as one of the initial points of contact with members within a scheme of delegated responsibility and refer requests for advice to other colleagues where appropriate.

What you can bring to this role
​
A degree in dentistry (BDS or equivalent) and strong experience in general dental practice is essential to this role. The successful candidate will be a qualified dentist.
​
We are particularly on the lookout for candidates who can evidence:
​
-Experienced dentist

-A strong understanding of the interface between patients and healthcare professionals

-Good knowledge of NHS General Dental practice and/or private practice or secondary dental care and frameworks across the UK
​
We are especially keen to hear from any dentists who have completed or are working towards a post graduate qualification in medical law and ethics or equivalent legal qualification. This is an essential requirement for the Dento-legal Adviser role.

We are especially looking to hear from candidates with:

- Experience or a qualification in Public Affairs

- An ability to build and maintain relationships with elected politicians, their offices and other key stakeholders

- Proficiency in using design tools such as Canva to produce branded materials

- An ability to analyse complex data and translate it into simple and clear briefings

- Experience in preparing briefings for Members of Parliament, Members of the Scottish Parliament, or internal stakeholders

We're looking for a Medico-Legal Adviser to join our dedicated and passionate Medical Division on a fixed term basis.

We are open to applications on a full- and part-time basis for both our London and Glasgow offices.

Who we are looking for:

​We're in search of candidates who are passionate about supporting healthcare professionals and can add real value to the care of our members while supporting with medico-legal matters.

Your insights and experience of general practice or secondary care across the UK will be your greatest asset, combined with experience of, or an interest, in medical law and ethics.

Minimum Requirements for the Role:

- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- GMC registration
- Post-graduate medical qualifications such as Royal College membership or equivalent
